Leo Kaiser knows how to make money, but he doesn't know how to manage the jealousy he feels towards his best friend and his wife. It was the storyline more so than the narration. But the triumph is short-lived: Jansen's pregnant wife is assassinated on election night, and the alleged mastermind behind the shooting is none other than Dottie's own father. The novels place Harry in many places in Oslo and give an unabashed view of the city, both good and bad. More about Jo Nesbo Jo Nesbo is truly a man of many talents. The man who gave him the tape goes missing, and Harry realises that failing to solve a murder case is by no means the only danger that faces the unwary. Sean Barrett as wonderful as ever. As she inches closer to the twisted truths at the centre of these murders, it becomes clear that she's dealing with a version of justice terrifyingly different to her own. A good reliable read that is hard to put down, so do not start if you do not have the time to quench the thirst. It will surely be ours to enjoy.
Sonny took the first steps toward addiction when his father took his own life rather than face exposure as a corrupt cop. Brilliant as normal It makes me sad to know I am going to have to wait a long time for the next Jo Nesbo book. He's not supposed to get too involved. Rather than keep to the same characters he wrote stand alone novels, one of which was made into a film and became an award winning blockbuster. I'm not sure if it's the author or the narrator that ruined it for me.

Someone else can do their job. But to do it incredibly well, took true artistry.

The victim is a twenty-three year old Norwegian woman who is a minor celebrity back home. It spoils the experience for me anyway. Great character, great stories, talented narrator and an awesome author! Writing this book, maybe especially if you're already an international bestseller of a very different oeuvre of books from the Shakespearean took a lot of guts. I found it hard to follow.
